Env Services Asst-Lead

About the role

As a Lead Environmental Services Assistant, your leadership ability combined with your excellent communication skills allows you to guide your team in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for personnel and patients. STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital DEPARTMENT: Environmental Services SCHEDULE: 3pm to 11:30pm ATTRIBUTES Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in cleaning Prioritize and follow verbal and written instructions Must be a proven leader and possess excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Scheduling. Complete a waste or linen removal schedule; use daily cleaning sheets, common area sheets and unit/discharge cleaning sheets specific to area
• Equipment Management. Evaluate broken equipment and perform maintenance work orders; may perform any of the duties of the Facilities Tech; may deploy and operate the Ultraviolet Light cleaning machine

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
