About the role
As a Fleet Specialty Support Division Director, you will provide executive leadership and oversight for customer relationship management and enterprise fleet support for GSA Fleet products and services. Specialized experience is experience assisting with the planning, directing, and execution of all fleet management programs and operational functions. Such experience must include: Planning and determining the appropriate vehicle needs and requirements for diverse customer agencies (e.g., lifecycle management, fleet optimization, and cost-efficiency strategies); Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various organizations (e.g., senior executives, acquisition partners, and external vendors) to support mission delivery and enterprise-wide outcomes; Providing strategic direction and oversight into customer-facing fleet operations and services (e.g., performance management, service delivery metrics, and continuous process improvement initiatives); Leading, mentoring, and/or managing diverse and multidisciplinary fleet management teams (e.g., setting performance expectations for the workforce, developing workforce capabilities for the team, and fostering a high-performance culture); AND Managing large-scale fleet programs with national scope, including oversight of multiple locations, customers, or business lines.
