Commercial Manager (M&E Industry)

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and financial matters for MEP projects, covering pre- and post-contract management.
• Review tenders, negotiate contracts, manage claims, variations, and contractual correspondences.
• Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage main contracts and subcontract agreements, ensuring proper risk control and alignment.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, cost forecasts, progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts.
• Implement cost control and value engineering initiatives to improve project margins.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and financial risks across projects.
• Support audits, insurance matters, dispute resolution, and adjudication processes when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, PDPA, no-gift policy, and business code of conduct.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10-15 years of commercial management experience in the M&E industry, preferably within Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore standard contracts, including PSSCOC and SIA contracts.

Additional Information

Working hours: Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm) Location: AMK Salary Range: $6500 to $7500
