About the role
About the position: This position will be a Recreation Assistant (Skills Development) assigned to Arts & Crafts Center at Minot AFB, ND. This is a REGULAR FULL-TIME (RFT) position. 35-40 hours are guaranteed each week. Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Progressively responsible experience which has been gained by working in a skills development environment. Experience which has provided a general familiarity with routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs. Experience may include administrative or clerical work which demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties of the position successfully. Must have knowledge of funds handling procedures. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends. Required completion of National Agency Check (NAC). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
