About the role

As our Renewal Manager, you'll play a critical role in protecting and growing TestGorilla's existing revenue base. You will own the full commercial renewal lifecycle for a high-volume portfolio of accounts, ensuring every contract is renewed on time and at the right value. This is a quota-carrying role that blends commercial execution with customer empathy-you'll confidently navigate pricing negotiations, deploy proactive save plays to retain at-risk customers, and guide customers through the transition from legacy plans to our new usage-based pricing model. You will use AI as a tool to improve the coverage of your book, working with tools like Claude and N8n to increase your ability to manage a book of customers in a high performing, fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with our Customer Success and Support teams to ensure customers are realizing value well before renewal conversations begin. Using automation, CRM tools, and data-driven insights, you'll manage a large pipeline with precision and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Responsibilities

  • In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Uphold TestGorilla's behaviors and foster an inclusive, supportive culture.
  • Collaborate effectively with global colleagues across teams and time zones.
  • Manage the full renewal lifecycle for a high volume of accounts in the NAMER and LATAM Regions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of contracts from initial outreach through to signature.
  • Drive credit adoption by guiding customers through the migration from legacy plans to our new usage-based pricing model, clearly articulating the value of the transition.
  • Proactively identify churn risks using product usage data, support histories, and customer health signals, and deploy targeted save plays to retain customers.
  • Spot upsell and expansion opportunities during the lifecycle and drive growth within your customer book through adoption of additional tools and features.
  • Confidently lead commercial negotiations around pricing changes, annual uplifts, discounts, and credit-based conversations, ensuring win-win outcomes for the customer and TestGorilla.
  • Leverage automation, email cadences, and CRM tools to systematize workflows and manage a large renewal pipeline at scale without letting any renewal slip through the cracks.
  • Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene and deliver accurate, data-driven revenue forecasts, providing clear visibility into retention rates and pipeline health.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure customers are seeing continuous value well before their renewal date approaches.

Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who:
  • Is passionate about TestGorilla's mission to help one billion people find their dream jobs.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Experience in Renewals, Inside Sales, Customer Success or Account Management managing the actual renewal event (SaaS experience is highly preferred).
  • Has a commercial mindset and experience: you are comfortable driving deals, asking for the close, and navigating complex commercial and contract negotiations including discounts and credit-based conversations.
  • Has high-volume operational skills: you are highly organized, can prioritize ruthlessly, and know how to use tech (CRM, automation using AI) to manage multiple tasks at scale.
  • Experience managing complex procurement cycles through to renewal
  • Adaptability: you are comfortable with change and ambiguity, and you learn new products and pricing structures quickly.
  • Experience in working in an AI first environment
  • Comfortable with AI
