About the role
Positions to be filled are in various organizations at the following NASA Centers - Ames Research Center, Armstrong Flight Research Center, Langley Research Center and Glenn Research Center. OR b) Completed all requirements for a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field. OR c) Completed at least 2 full academic years of graduate education in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field. OR d) An equivalent combination of experience and graduate education To qualify at the GS-10 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service: Identifying discrepancies on aircraft or other equipment using test equipment; Assisting with electrical modifications on aircraft or research equipment. To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 level in the Federal service: Assisting with troubleshooting discrepancies on equipment or aircraft by utilizing test equipment and interpreting wiring diagrams; Supporting fabrication of electrical modifications on aircraft or research equipment. To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service: Testing, troubleshooting, and/or repairing avionics, electrical, and instrumentation discrepancies on aircraft or other equipment using diagnostic equipment; Fabricating electrical wiring harnesses, components, and/or instrumentation systems for aircraft or research equipment; Supporting engineers in research and development activities requiring application of various engineering methods and principles.
