Position Summary The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive healthcare management through clinical and medication reviews to support safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care. This role involves analyzing medical records, assessing medication appropriateness, and researching disease states to guide therapeutic discussions. Through critical review and clinical insight, the pharmacist ensures alignment with treatment guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The role supports population health initiatives and may focus on specific areas such as opioid stewardship, chronic disease management, or high-risk medication use. This role focuses on reviewing patient medical records and medication histories to support safe, effective, and guideline-based therapy in high risk and complex cases of opioid misuse and abuse. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.Candidate must be able and willing to work during the hours of 8am-5pm ET, with flexibility to adjust working hours as needed meet business needs. Required Qualifications Bachelors of Pharmacy or Pharm D from an ACPE-accredited college or university Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice Minimum of 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in managed care setting Demonstrated ability to review and interpret medical records, medication histories, and lab data Demonstrated expertise in opioid and pain management stewardship Demonstrated understanding of and experience with MWA/FWA Sound clinical judgment and independent thinking Strong ability to influence clinical decision-making through persuasive communication and expert guidance in therapeutic optimization
