Technical manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage M&E work schedules aligned with the project master programme to ensure timely progress
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues promptly
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works before concreting and subsequent construction activities to ensure quality and compliance
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (ACMV, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical systems (LV/HV, transformers, switchboards, CCTV) to meet project specifications
• Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, codes, and safety requirements to maintain site safety and regulatory adherence
• Work independently and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
• Required competencies and certifications
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Mechanical engineering projects within Singapore's building and construction industry
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Hands-on experience in M&E systems and site coordination demonstrating strong technical knowledge
• Good understanding of M&E details, construction drawings, and local construction practices
• Driving ability is an advantage
