About the role
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities IT Strategy & Business Partnership (30%) Develop and execute the company's corporate IT strategy aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and IPO milestones. Infrastructure, Cloud & End‑User Computing (10%) Own and manage IT infrastructure including cloud environments, servers, networks, endpoints, and backups. Ensure reliable, secure, and cost‑effective IT operations for all employees, including remote or distributed teams. Establish disaster recovery, business continuity, and system resilience practices. Cybersecurity & Risk (10%) Design and implement cybersecurity policies covering data protection, access controls, incident response, and monitoring. Reduce technology and information‑security risk by embedding controls into systems and processes from day one. IPO & Audit Readiness (10%) Ensure IT controls are aligned with internal control frameworks required for IPO readiness and ongoing public‑company compliance. Partner with Finance, Legal, and external auditors to support IT audits and assurance activities. Prepare the company's IT environment for IPO requirements, including control documentation, audit trails, and system governance. Support due diligence processes by ensuring transparency, documentation, and reliability of IT systems. Continuously strengthen IT processes to meet increasing regulatory and governance expectations post‑IPO. Team Building & Vendor Management (10%) Initially operate as a hands‑on contributor while recruiting, mentoring, and scaling an internal IT team over time. Manage and negotiate with external vendors, system integrators, MSPs, and security providers. Establish a sustainable operating model that balances internal capability with outsourced expertise. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required). Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Startup and project-based industry experience preferred. Pre-IPO or public company exposure is a strong plus. Certifications/Licenses: candidates with CISA/CISSP/ITIL highly preferred.
