About the role

Ellipsis Labs is seeking an inaugural EVM Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will: Develop and maintain critical smart contracts for the EVM, along with the appropriate monitoring systems Serve as in-house expert and mentor on the EVM

Requirements

• Required
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining EVM smart contracts in production
• Experience working with auditors
• Deep understanding of Ethereum and low-level EVM concepts
• A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
• Passion for decentralized finance
• Preferred
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Experience with Rust or other statically typed languages
• Experience in quant trading or DeFi
