Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions with clients to define goals, technical requirements, data needs, and solution scope
  • Translate client needs into end-to-end solution designs using APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, data integration patterns, and AI-enabled workflows

  • Build and improve reusable solution patterns, accelerators, and technical strategies to support scale and consistency across implementations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role
  • Demonstrated AI literacy with practical experience applying AI concepts, automation workflows, or enterprise AI use cases in business solutions
  • Discuss and position AI-enabled capabilities, including LLM-based workflows or intelligent automation, without needing to code or build models directly
  • Client interface experience, including leading discovery sessions, presenting technical solutions, and influencing executive and non-technical partners
  • Experience designing or supporting API-first, microservices-based, and cloud-enabled solution architectures
  • Working knowledge of security, data governance, and regulatory requirements including IAM, data protection
  • Experience working with financial institutions or in financial services environments where decisioning, risk, fraud, identity, or compliance considerations are important

Experian is looking for a Solutions Engineer who combines technical depth with client engagement skills to increase adoption of the Bureau Composer platform. This is a client-facing role at the intersection of solution architecture, AI-enabled decisioning, and revenue enablement. You will partner directly with clients, sales, and our teams to design scalable, data-driven solutions. These solutions address complex challenges across credit, fraud, identity, and decisioning use cases, with relevance to financial institutions.
