Job Description Summary: Role Overview: Lead the EMEA Indirect Tax function as part of TCCC's Global Indirect Tax Center of Excellence (ITX COE). Reporting to the Global Indirect Tax Senior Director, drive strategic direction, process excellence, risk management, technology adoption, and cross-regional alignment for indirect tax compliance and advisory. Scope & Responsibilities: Set and execute the regional indirect reporting tax strategy in partnership with global R2R, aligning with corporate and regional business goals. Lead and develop a high-performing team (Senior Managers and Consultants), ensuring resources, training, and support are in place for effective delivery. Establish, enforce, and continuously improve regional indirect tax policies and governance frameworks, driving standardization and operational consistency. Oversee vendor relationships, leveraging third-party providers to optimize compliance and reporting for outsourced jurisdictions. Identify, assess, and mitigate indirect tax risks and opportunities, collaborating closely with business units, corporate tax, and external parties. Act as a key point of contact for regional audits and disputes, coordinating preparation and response efforts. Partner with tax technology teams to support digitalization, automation, and system enhancements. Drive change management and champion process improvements throughout the region and networked organization. Key Success Parameters: Minimum 8 years of indirect tax/reporting and advisory experience in a multinational environment across different cultures and time zones. Master's degree in finance, accounting, tax law, or law; professional tax certification preferred. Deep knowledge of EMEA indirect tax regulations and practices. Familiarity with SAP, MS D365, and indirect tax technology (e.g., Vertex O-Series/CFA). Critical thinking and problem-solving with proven business acumen. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, and ambiguous setting, balancing competing priorities and deadlines. Strong influencing, communication, and leadership skills.
