Responsibilities
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Provide hands-on process engineering support for established operations by analyzing performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Process Design & Scale-Up: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of new processes, including scale-ups, process modifications, and technology introductions, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations.

- Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Apply deep knowledge in core engineering disciplines-such as mixing, material science, heat and mass transfer, filtration, and drying-to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support complex manufacturing systems.
- Capacity Planning & Bottleneck Reduction: Analyze site capacity constraints, identify bottlenecks, and lead targeted projects to streamline workflows, increase throughput, and maximize operational efficiency.
- Capital Planning & Project Leadership: Recommend and support both short- and long-term capital investments related to equipment reliability, new technologies, and expanded capabilities; serve as project lead to implement these improvements successfully.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and project stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs and ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, related engineering, or Chemistry discipline
- 10 years prior chemical or pharmaceutical engineering manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Experience in several production facilities with different scales and technology platforms
- Skills in successfully overcoming challenges and identifying opportunities for improvements
- Possess both the technical knowledge and practical experience to solve complex process engineering issues
- Keep informed of latest technology in order to make recommendations for change
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Strong technical problem solving ability
- Ability to influence groups without having supervisory responsibility
- Strong Computer skills in a variety of software packages
- Ability to apply fundamental engineering and business principles
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skill
