About the role
This is a closing-focused role. Our marketing team and SDRs handle brand awareness and lead qualification - you take qualified leads (Inbound / SQL) and convert them into signed contracts. Given the quarterly target, you may be responsible for the outbound prospecting strategy. Your job is to move deals efficiently from Discovery to close.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for qualified leads: Discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and close
- Understand enterprise buyer needs (HR / L&D decision-makers) and deliver tailored proposals
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders - HR Directors, L&D leads, and executive sponsors
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver reliable quarterly pipeline forecasts
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth post-sale onboarding
- Share frontline market insights to continuously improve sales messaging and positioning
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven, independent track record of closing deals
- English proficiency at CEFR B2 or above - required as a working language
- (Equivalent benchmarks: IELTS 5.5-6.0 | TOEFL iBT 72-94 | Cambridge B2 First (FCE)
- Native Mandarin speaker
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodology - discovery, proposal, objection handling, and negotiation
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills; able to operate with minimal management overhead
- Preferred Experience
- Background in SaaS, EdTech, HR tech, or corporate training / L&D solutions
- Experience engaging with HR and Learning & Development teams
- Familiar with HR procurement processes at MNCs or outbound-focused Chinese enterprises
- Prior experience at a fast-growing startup or international company
