Located within the School of Architecture , this position's primary focus is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the academic operations of the School's three graduate degree programs. The successful candidate will serve as a visibly identifiable, primary point of contact for both current and prospective graduate students. Furthermore, this role provides direct support to faculty and students in the logistical planning of studio travel (including group domestic and international travel), as well as coordinating complex travel logistics for jury critics invited to review student work on campus. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, genuinely enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and consistently deliver high-quality results during fast-paced work cycles. Because academic schedules and travel logistics are dynamic, this individual must possess exceptional flexibility and a willingness to pivot seamlessly when project priorities shift. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Graduate Studies Support: Provide dedicated administrative support for graduate student processes, including admissions, onboarding, relocation, financial fellowships, and stipends. Faculty & Course Logistics: Act as the primary faculty point of contact for graduate courses, delivering logistical support related to studio travel, the coordination of jury critics, and the calendaring of room assignments. Records Management: Ensure the systematic digital collection of student work and academic course content at the conclusion of each semester. Summer Program Management: Manage the School's high school Career Discovery Program for two weeks during the summer, working closely and collaboratively with the faculty lead, teaching assistants, and program participants. Student Communications: Prepare and distribute general academic-related communications to the School's student body.
