Insurance Agent - Farmers Insurance

About the role

We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team in Long Beach. In this role, you will be responsible for building new business, providing personalized insurance solutions, and contributing to our agency's positive, team-based atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, outreach, and converting leads into new policies
• Consult with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage
• Sell and cross-sell Farmers insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
• Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional service and regular policy reviews
• Consistently achieve or surpass individual sales targets to support agency growth
• Stay up-to-date on insurance products and maintain industry compliance
• Use CRM tools to manage leads, follow-ups, and renewals with accuracy
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative planning sessions

Requirements

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Confident with outbound calls and closing sales
• Willingness to learn with a coachable mindset
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Active California Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
