Project Safety Assistant

About the role

As our Project Safety Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting field safety efforts across our construction projects. You will assist project teams with daily inspections, documentation, training support, and hazard‑prevention activities to help maintain safe, well‑organized, and compliant job sites. You will work closely with superintendents, project managers, trade partners, and field crews to identify hazards, support corrective actions, maintain safety records, and reinforce company and OSHA requirements. This role is hands‑on and field‑focused, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset in dynamic construction environments. Experienced Project Safety Assistants may take on greater responsibility in conducting safety talks, leading portions of site orientations, aiding incident investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement in project safety culture. Successful team members in this role are observant, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to promoting a safe and productive jobsite for everyone involved.
