This role coordinates certification planning and execution with internal teams (design, test, airworthiness) and external authorities such as EASA. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Define certification basis and compliance approach: Propose and align the Type-Certification Basis and Means of Compliance with regulatory authorities. Lead the Certification Program (CP): Create required CP documents, coordinate actions with authorities, and manage the Compliance Checklist. Regulatory reporting: Provide regular status updates to authorities on certification program progress. Support certification execution: Coordinate engine/component test planning, analysis requirements, and teardown/inspection plans. Requirements flowdown: Translate regulatory requirements to design and systems engineering teams. Author certification documentation: Write certification test plans and reports. Required Qualifications Systems engineering background. Experience in engine/components Desired Characteristics Systems engineering background. Experience leading engine/component testing for aerospace or industrial products. Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology and technical regulations/standards (knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree). Experience in certification work for aircraft engines components or similar aerospace products. Working knowledge of EASA and/or FAA certification requirements.
