Material Data Specialist I

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to follow standardized processes and learn ERP systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• ERP experience preferred; SAP experience a plus
• Education and Experience
• Associate degree or coursework in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

Job Tasks Create and maintain material master records, BOMs, and routings in SAP following established standards Review engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation to ensure data accuracy Perform routine data maintenance, corrections, and clean‑up activities Support Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Costing teams with accurate system data Assist with documentation, audits, and basic system reporting Escalate data discrepancies, missing information, or unclear requirements to senior team members
