Requirements

• Qualifications (Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree or equivalent) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work or related disciplines
• The Personnel should have preferably 1 year experience working with children or youth.
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:30pm , 7 hours per day inclusive of 1 hour lunch break (Reporting hours may change to fit the school's needs).
• Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and School Holidays (March, June, September and December)
• Contract Period: 20 July 2026 to 19 July 2027 (1 year)

Additional Information

Job Scope: Supporting SDT and SMT in student management and discipline matters (such as investigation, reporting, communication with stakeholders (e.g. taking students' statements). Assisting in drafting and administering behavioural management forms Guiding/coaching students who are on in-house suspension or Controlled Recess Duty Providing direct supervision of identified students (may require to sit in classrooms) Responding to call for help from teachers to manage students' inappropriate behaviour and bring them to a calming room Providing basic counselling for students
