The compensation target for this role is: $25.50 - $30.00Job SummaryJob DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Performs All Activities Associated with the Job Consolidation Function in the Warehousing Department, Including Kitting of materials, storage, inventory control, operating a forklift, preparing product for use by Production .Ensure all required materials are accounted for and ready for upcoming production work orders.Computer work in WMS system for proper allocation and letdown of materials.Prepare materials for use by Production by Assembling, Storing and Delivering.Works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain material deliveries to meet Production Schedules.Ensures no stock outs on production lines affecting throughput .Contributes to the Team Effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Ability to operate forklifts.Ability to operate pallet stretch-wrapping machine.Required Skills, Education, Experience :Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsExperience in reporting on key Inventory Control metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachPhysical RequirementsPhysical Activities may occasionally include:ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like;moving self in various positions to accomplish tasks in various environments;communicating with others to exchange information.Physical Activities may constantly include:remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods;moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another;adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions;repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers;operating machinery and/or power tools, depending on position;depending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment;assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:low or elevated temperatures ; or outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.Environmental Conditions may constantly include:noisy environments;or hazardous conditions.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position .
