Responsibilities

  • Investment Origination & Analysis

  • Support investment origination, screening, underwriting, and structuring activities.

  • Conduct market research to help identify new investment opportunities.
  • Contribute to innovative financing solutions that advance CGC's mission.

Requirements

  • Required
  • Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Preferred
  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation, or transaction analysis.
  • Exposure to project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, private credit, or asset-backed lending.
  • Interest in clean energy, climate finance, sustainable infrastructure, or impact investing.
  • Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, or similar financial and data platforms.
  • Progress toward a CFA designation, graduate coursework, or other relevant professional development.

Position Summary CGC is seeking an Analyst to join its Investments team. This is an opportunity to build core investing, underwriting, and transaction execution skills while supporting investments that accelerate clean energy deployment and sustainable infrastructure development across the United States. As a member of the Investments team, you will support the evaluation, structuring, execution, and management of investments across clean energy, transportation, and other climate-aligned sectors. The role focuses primarily on infrastructure and asset-backed debt transactions, with exposure to select equity investments.
