Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties Calculate and accurately record test results Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform checks on laboratory equipment Troubleshoot basic analyzer malfunctions and notify management when needed Prepare reagents and media per established procedures Evaluate reagents, media, and calibrators using defined criteria Conduct quality control (QC) on tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products Review QC results and implement corrective actions when required Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with quality systems Support company values, ethics, and leadership principles Ensure adherence to quality management system expectations Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in one of the following (or related field) from an accredited institution: Chemical science Physical science Biological/clinical laboratory science Medical technology Licensing / Certification Requirements (if applicable) Must meet state-specific requirements where required: California: Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CDPH) Georgia: Certification via ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB Work Experience & Skills No prior transplant testing experience required Knowledge of: Medical technology principles, methods, and techniques Chemistry, biology, and bacteriology fundamentals Recent developments in medical technology Ability to: Perform tasks according to procedures Make accurate observations and maintain records Skilled in using laboratory equipment Strong organizational and planning skills High attention to detail Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Customer-focused mindset Environmental & Safety Requirements Must follow all safety and exposure procedures Required to use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) Must handle hazardous materials safely Refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical hazards
