Responsibilities

  • The main responsibilities of the CPE fall into three areas: the school's educational policy, student monitoring, and the organisation of student life. In collaboration with teaching and guidance staff, the CPE also contributes to advising students on their academic and career pathways.

  • Contribute to the Health, Citizenship and Environment Education Committee.
  • Participate in class placement for the new academic year.
  • Provide personalised student follow-up in liaison with families and contribute to guidance planning.
  • Contribute to the functioning, development, and reputation of the school (projects, events, etc.).
  • Work collaboratively with the two other CPEs.
  • Chair certain class councils for assigned levels.
  • Coordinate, with school leadership, the mobilisation of student-life teams for the organisation and smooth running of examinations, and supervise students during exam sessions.
  • Perform any other duties aligned with the CPE professional competency framework.
  • Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required
  • Qualified CPE from the French National Education system or equivalent profile.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (BA or equivalent).
  • Experience at secondary level (middle or high school).
  • Knowledge of the French education system and regulatory framework.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
