Manage multi-modal freight movements (ocean, air, ground) across Lunar's partner, manufacturing, and customer network-serving as the subject matter expert for Class 9 Hazmat transportation and compliance Define and maintain import/export process flows, determine HTS and ECCN classifications, and ensure 100% compliance with state, federal, and international regulations Analyze production and tariff structures to minimize duty impact, manage duty drawback initiatives, and oversee bonded and non-bonded cross-border flows Develop and track KPIs to assess carrier performance, optimize inventory investment, and drive toward the best total cost of ownership Lead sourcing and vetting of carriers, brokers, and 3PLs; negotiate contracts, enforce INCOTERMS, and define Lunar's long-term fulfillment and distribution roadmap Manage vendor relationships through regular QBRs, root-cause analysis, and on-site audits to ensure partners meet Lunar's operational standards Onboard and train internal shipping personnel and external partners on Lunar's policies, and maintain rigorous process documentation and recordkeeping
