Job Description Summary We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Engineering team. Working as part of an integrated global team, in this role you will contribute to the aero-thermal design of Combustion System Modules and Components and their technology maturation vehicles, with the aim at supporting product evolution and design activities up to certification. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the Design, analysis and test required to demonstrate main combustion performances Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the combustion discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute tasks Perform aero-thermal analysis: 1D Flow network, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD 3D), Thermal analysis Execute the design and analysis of assigned projects using sound engineering principles in agreement to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. Developing deep knowledge of a technical discipline, being in touch with the technical community and proactively participate to the improvement and foster of new methodology/tools. Participate in design reviews and tech reviews. Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers Collaborate with cross functional engineering team to support hardware design & test Efficient communicate with the team to improve collaboration and eliminate waste. Share information and promote open dialogue. Qualifications/Requirements Engineering Master degree from an accredited university. Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Passion for technical excellence and technology advancement. Self-directed and motivated Open mindset and strong team player Fluent written and spoken Italian and English Clear thinking and diligent approach English and Italian fluency Good interpersonal and communication skills Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Knowledge of aero design tools to address aero-thermal design, such as Flow network solver, CFD and basic thermal solver Previous experience in testing environment will be considered as plus; Creativity and curiosity Capable to work in multicultural environment, preferable previous international experience; Previous experience in aero-thermal design of complex products and New Product Introduction process Analytical thinking skills System mindset and problem solver
