Develop a clear roadmap that reflects regional business objectives and technology plans, including the change portfolio and service improvements Represent Singapore and Australia needs within Group IT governance and delivery forums Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and improved resilience and work with London and Outsourced teams to implement changes Service Oversight and Governance (20%) Act as the local technical lead and first point of contact for all IT-related matters across Singapore and Australia, escalating to London and Outsourced partners when needed Work closely with London IT and Group DevOps to ensure local priorities, issues, and dependencies are understood and addressed Review local risks, issues, and service performance metrics to ensure effective controls are in place Oversee the effectiveness and timeliness of service delivery from outsourced and remote support providers, ensuring SLA adherence. Review the need for on-site technical and propose a future support model, potentially leveraging remote or offshore service desks. Maintain governance and controls around EUCs, access, and system changes in accordance with Lloyd's and MAS expectations. Support IT audits, BCP/DR testing, and regulatory reviews (e.g. MAS TRM, Lloyd's Asia operational standards). Coordinate and support local testing for system upgrades, platform migrations, and new technology rollouts. Ensure regulatory adherence in the space of technology and data, and ensure best practice is employed by being a local champion for guardrails and standards. Requirements
- Working closely with Head Office and Outsourcing Partners, you will ensure alignment for the Singapore office to the IT strategy, daily service delivery, and risk management, ensuring IT services stay reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs across the following activities:
- Management Activities
- Lead small development initiatives end-to-end, including design, testing, documentation, deployment and embedding
- Coordinate local change
- Oversee daily support activities, ensuring smooth BAU operations for key systems and application
- Drive continuous improvement in how IT services and local tools are managed and delivered

This is a key new role within MS Amlin Asia Pacific (MS AAP), a Lloyd's Syndicate 2001 branch operating under the Lloyd's Asia platform. The role is designed to strengthen the regional technology environment across Singapore and Australia and ensure alignment with Lloyd's governance, control, and regulatory expectations. It combines hands-on technical development with IT service management and local technology oversight. The role will work closely with Head Office in London to develop the rationalisation of end-user computing (EUC) tools and development of modern, scalable systems while acting as the bridge between London IT, Group Data & Technology, and local business teams.
