About the role
I am recruiting for a very interesting Energy Supply Business that is looking to expand the Oprerations team, looking for a Settlements Analyst with at least 1-2 years relevant experience. You will be responsible for: Confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement of all trading activity and industry costs Validation of metering and settlement data, and resolution of issues Support on industry registration activities Preparation of monthly client billing and reconciliations Resolving client settlement and industry charge related queries Preferred skills and experience: An understanding of the UK energy market, with experience operating within the BSC and REC frameworks. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills including the ability to assess errors and variances to reconcile data. Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders both internal and external. Experience of wholesale trade settlement processes. Experience of process automation using e.g. Python, SQL
