Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region. Key Highlights Level I Trauma Center (Adult and Pediatric); approximately 130,000 emergency visits, 5,300 trauma activations, and 2,500 Surgical ICU admissions annually Robust Acute Care Surgery practice with dedicated trauma day/night coverage Surgical intensivist responsibilities across transplant, general surgery, surgical oncology, neurosurgery, and other high-acuity subspecialty patients Three Surgical ICUs with a total of 40 beds located on the University Campus Strong support from a large team of advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) Highly supportive hospital administration committed to trauma program growth Access to departmental resources and infrastructure for trauma and critical care research Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training through UMass Chan Medical School Division expansion from 7 to 8 surgeons in response to increasing trauma volume Modern technology platforms (e.g., Epic EMR) for seamless communication and workflow efficiency
