English Teacher for Secondary

Responsibilities

• ✔ Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to student needs.
• ✔ Use interactive teaching techniques to keep students engaged.
• ✔ Monitor and assess student progress, providing written feedback.
• ✔ Develop and refine curriculum materials.
• ✔ Address learning challenges and provide academic support.
• ✔ Supervise students during peak hours and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
• ✔ Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• What We Look For
• ✔ Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement); a Master's or Ph.D. in Linguistics or Education is an advantage.
• ✔ At least 3 years of teaching experience in an educational setting.
• ✔ Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
• ✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities .
• ✔ A service-oriented mindset , recognizing that each student has unique learning needs.
• ✔ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
• Work Schedule & Benefits
• 📅 Workweek : 5 or 6 days, depending on availability.
• ⏰ Hours : 09:00 - 20:00 (subject to adjustments during peak academic periods).
• 💰 Salary : SGD 5,000 - 6,000, based on experience and qualifications.
