About the role
As our Broadacre Agronomist , you will be a key member of the Toowoomba branch and a trusted advisor to cropping clients across the Darling Downs and Western Downs region. Responsibilities
- As an Elders Agronomist, you will:
- Build and maintain strong, service-based relationships with broadacre cropping clients
- Provide tailored agronomic advice across chemical, fertiliser, seed and soil health
- Conduct in-field assessments and deliver crop monitoring and planning services
- Develop seasonal programs and input plans to support on-farm success
- Identify opportunities to grow your client base and cross-sell Elders products and services
- Stay informed on local agronomic trends, R&D, and emerging technologies
- About you
- To succeed at Elders, you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science, agronomy or a related field
- Practical experience in broadacre/ horticulture/ viticulture agronomy, agricultural product sales, or crop consulting
- Strong technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning
- Sound use of digital farm management systems for planning and recording recommendations
- Current driver's licence and the ability to work independently in the field
- Passion for Australian agriculture and a proactive approach to building client relationships
