Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, entertainment marketing, or audience engagement.
  • Deep expertise across major social platforms and evolving digital ecosystems.
  • Proven track record developing social-first strategies for premium entertainment brands, media companies, streaming services, studios, or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of audience development, creator marketing, community management, and cultural trend analysis.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across marketing, publicity, media, creative, and production teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description The Executive Director, Social will lead social-first marketing strategy across the network's original series and brand campaigns. This role serves as an expert on social platforms, audience behavior, creator ecosystems, and emerging digital trends, translating platform intelligence into breakthrough marketing strategies that drive awareness, fandom, conversation, and cultural relevance. Reporting to the Vice President of Social and Audience Growth, this leader will develop and oversee social strategy across all campaigns while partnering closely with Originals Marketing, Brand Marketing, Publicity, Media, Growth Marketing, Creative Services, and Events teams to ensure social is embedded from campaign inception through launch and lifecycle management. This role requires equal parts strategist, cultural observer, platform expert, and organizational influencer.
