Structural Steel Fabrication Specialist

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in structural steel fitting and fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to accurately read structural steel blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Experience with structural layout, fit-up, and fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of measuring tools, fabrication equipment, and shop machinery.
• Ability to safely handle heavy steel materials and remain on your feet throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented fabrication environment.

Steel Fabrication Technician (Structural) Location: Arlington, TN Pay: Starts at $21/hour (higher based on experience) + 10% shift differential Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-3:00 AM (occasional Saturdays) We are hiring a skilled Steel Fabrication Technician to support production in a high-volume fabrication shop. This role focuses on reading drawings, fitting structural components, and preparing materials for welding.
