Requirements

• Handling biological/clinical specimens
• Processing these specimens for NGS, including nucleic acid extraction and library preparation through sequencing data generation.
• Participating in experimental design, execution, and analysis discussion.
• Conducting general lab maintenance management
• Performing all laboratory activities in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program

• For candidates based in our San Diego office , the hourly range is $20.00 - $22.00 an hour.

The Position: Veracyte utilizes Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and microarray technologies in combination with proprietary analysis pipelines to examine molecular signatures that ultimately assist physicians in managing patient care across a variety of cancer types. We are seeking a 6 month part-time intern for recent graduates ( Your assignments will include: Handling biological/clinical specimens Processing these specimens for NGS, including nucleic acid extraction and library preparation through sequencing data generation.
