About the role

UCF's Office of Undergraduate Studies seeks a Manager, Academic Program to join their team. This position supports the coordination and management of High-Impact Practice (HIP) initiatives within Undergraduate Studies, with a significant focus on overseeing the full operations of HIP Course Designations from development through implementation, and general maintenance. Responsibilities

  • HIP Course Designations - Submissions: Serves as the primary technical manager for the TeamDynamix portal. Manages the full life cycle of submissions from intake through completion, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Troubleshoots workflow and user issues.
  • Supervision: Directly supervises one or more student assistants, providing guidance, task management, and professional development support. Contributes to broader supervision and coordination of HIP student assistants as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned: Provides additional support to Undergraduate Studies and university-wide HIP initiatives as needed, contributing to the overall success and advancement of HIPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .
  • Experience working in a higher education, nonprofit, or similarly mission-driven environment.
  • Experience coordinating programs, initiatives, or complex administrative processes from development through implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, or cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, track outcomes, and use data to inform decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting training, events, or outreach initiatives is a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
