Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Registered Nurse (RN) - 7 West Trauma Med/Surg Full Time .9/7p Where You Will Work 7 West is a 37-bed unit that specializes in the care of Trauma/Medical/Surgical patients above the age of 15. Patients admitted to 7 West include: - Multiple trauma, chest trauma, abdominal trauma, head trauma, and orthopedic trauma (age 15 and older). - Pre and post-operative trauma patients.- Medical and surgical overflow- Pre and post-surgical candidates or major trauma victims being treated for fluid and electrolyte imbalance that require monitoring and medical intervention.- Patients with cervical spine injuries.- Neurosurgical patients (i.e. craniotomy and spinal surgery).- Tuberculosis (negative pressure rooms: 7364w, 7368W 7370W, 7372W)- Respiratory diagnoses (i.e., COPD, pneumonia, asthma)- Congestive Heart Failure- Cellulitis and gangrene- Diabetes- DVT- Gastrointestinal disorders- Sepsis- Urinary Tract Infection- Mental status changes We're Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
