Responsibilities

  • Advise on and execute international debt capital markets transactions, including: Standalone bond issuances (Reg S / Rule 144A)
  • Medium Term Note (MTN) programmes

  • Support on equity and equity‑linked transactions, including: Convertible and exchangeable bonds

  • Securities law compliance
  • Ongoing disclosure and compliance obligations
  • Liaise with regulators, stock exchanges, trustees, CMU and other transaction parties to support execution
  • Work closely with international offices and local counsel on multi‑jurisdictional transactions
  • Conduct legal research and provide commercial, solutions‑focused advice on transaction structuring and market practice
  • Participate in client meetings, calls and business development initiatives
  • Qualified lawyer (Hong Kong, England & Wales, or other common law jurisdiction preferred)
  • NQ to 2 years' PQE with relevant experience in capital markets (DCM preferred)
  • Experience gained at a top-tier international law firm or leading regional practice
  • Technically strong with excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • Commercial, proactive and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communicator with a client‑focused mindset
  • Fluency in English and native Mandarin required
