The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a CDI Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Conducting an in-depth review of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history, and physicals) based on billing criteria Communicating internally and externally to obtain missing clinical information required for placement and/or billing. This could include other Solventum employees, home health agencies, patients, hospitals/facilities, and physicians Meeting production expectations based on department priorities, as well as sustaining critical service level agreements to ensure good continuity of the operation Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified before start) from an accredited institution and experience n a private, public, government or military environment Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and email At least 1 year of experience in a KCI-related operation Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: WDT, WCC, or ACAT experience is a plus Previous experience with IB and OB calls. The candidate may be required to take phone calls Knowledge of Wound Management principles, clinical documentation requirements, and medical terminology in general Knowledge of US Healthcare Billing rules and regulations Knowledge of the post-acute market, including Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Wound Care Centers Bachelor's degree or in-process studies in administration, engineering, or a healthcare-related field Work location: Hybrid-Texas Candidate must be able to travel to San Antonio, Texas, when requested Must be legally authorized to work in a country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $39,360 - $54,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
