Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:
  • Serve as a frontline HR contact for the employee lifecycle needs across a range of EMEA locations (such as Finland, Germany, the UK, Belarus, and Poland). This includes pre-onboarding, onboarding, employee support throughout employment, and offboarding.
  • Work with managers to develop a positive team dynamic and address performance issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Lead onboarding initiatives, including conducting onboarding sessions and check-ins with managers during the probation period.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, and update and communicate HR policies as needed.
  • Support day-to-day department operations like running reports, HRIS updates, and managing ticketing systems and inboxes.
  • What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
  • 5+ years of HR experience in an IT or tech environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and English proficiency (both verbal and written) not lower than C1.
  • Location: Must reside in Finland and be willing to come into the Helsinki office 3 days a week.
  • Experience covering multiple regions across EMEA.
  • Ability to work with large document flow and a large number of requests.
  • Ability to build relationships with managers and individual contributors in the organization.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach and motivation to develop within the HR function.
  • You should have a base knowledge of HR practices and compliance in order to use these to their best judgment in daily support and decision-making. You will use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create effective processes.
