Reporting to the Director, Spa & Recreation, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Welcome guests to the Spa and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience Ensure all guests are registered prior to using the fitness facility To have full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct, and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned workplace. Maintain current knowledge of all spa services, pricing, offerings, schedules, specials, and other services provided at the spa. Provide bespoke guest service to every guest who enters the Gym and Spa as per the Fairmont Standard Operating Procedures Ensure all guests are aware of the guidelines regarding the use of the facility Maintain cleanliness of all types of equipment, public and service areas Ensure guests members are aware of all programs and activities available Bus and stock all service area items including towels, water, ice, beverages, magazines, newspapers and clean headsets Schedule of all colleagues in all department of Recreation & Wellness and ensure smooth operation of the reception. Provide guests with all information regarding the fitness facility and its offerings Provide all administrative duties as required Assist in promoting the facility and organizing special events as required Report any equipment that needs servicing Provide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Director of recreation & Entertainment and the team to operational excellence while understanding and executing the short- and long-term goals established by the Director of Recreation & Entertainment. Follow departmental policies and procedures Follow all safety and sanitation policies Other duties as assigned Previous experience in a fitness facility an asset Certification in CPR First Aid required organized and a great team player Passionate about wellness and a healthy working environment Implementing programs whereby the Spa Journey intensifies through a combination of individual touches and experiences Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Your team and working environment: In 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
