WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US The Lead Testing Services Consultant at SimCorp, provides leadership in the planning, execution, and optimization of testing services to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. With typically 7+ years of experience in testing or quality assurance, this role works independently to manage complex testing projects, drive process improvements, and mentor junior team members. The Lead Consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams, ensures that testing activities meet organizational goals, and contributes to the overall success of service delivery WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test plans, ensuring high standards of quality and performance for SimCorp solutions Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements, align on project goals, and ensure full test coverage Analyze and resolve complex testing issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner Optimize testing processes and adopt best practices to improve efficiency and reduce the time to delivery Mentor and guide junior consultants, enhancing skill development and promoting high-quality testing standards Monitor and analyze testing metrics to assess performance and identify areas for continuous improvement Develop and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, cases, and results, ensuring thorough records of testing efforts Provide advanced insights on testing strategies, tools, and technologies to ensure the most effective solutions are being used WHAT WE VALUE: Managing testing projects to ensure solutions meet quality and performance standards Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing into the overall service delivery process Implementing initiatives to introduce automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency Conducting root cause analyses for recurring testing issues and ensuring long-term solutions are in place Engaging with clients and stakeholders to communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks Facilitating training sessions and knowledge sharing to promote best practices in testing within the team Monitoring trends and advancements in testing technologies to ensure the adoption of up-to-date tools Managing escalations and ensuring timely resolution of complex testing challenges
