About the role

You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Shipboard Electrical Branch (262), Main Propulsion and Electrical Division (260), Engineering Department (200), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting, repair recommendations, repair oversight, testing support, or maintenance support for shipboard electrical equipment, electrical distribution systems, power generation support equipment, controllers, switchboards, breakers, relays, or associated shipboard electrical subsystems. Experience performing or supporting Fleet Technical Assistance, technical assessments, inspections, casualty response, shipboard investigations, or readiness-related support involving shipboard electrical systems. Experience interpreting and applying technical manuals, drawings, schematics, maintenance requirements, specifications, quality assurance standards, and Navy maintenance or engineering policies. Experience coordinating technical actions across all appropriate stakeholders in support of maintenance execution and Fleet readiness. Experience supporting Engineering Technical Authority processes, including ESRs, DFSs, technical recommendation development, and implementation of authorized technical direction. Experience managing or prioritizing technical work across multiple jobs, projects, availabilities, or emergent requirements in support of ship readiness.
