Assists in supervising clinical operations. Explains why clinical and financial management are important to the organization. Engages in the "workplace community" by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff. Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing auditing and education for safety and quality initiatives. Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness. Assembles and maintains a balanced staffing schedule to ensure department coverage and service levels are optimized. Identifies and develops interventions to drive onboarding, consistent training, and professional development opportunities to support staff growth, operational excellence, and quality outcomes. Maintains consistent communication with department leadership to ensure timely escalation of potential unit level risks. Participates in staffing up to 20% time of to ensure personal competency and appropriate coverage as needed. Education Requirement: Bachelors of Science in Nursing, required. Licensure Requirement: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. Certifications: Current CPR certification. Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP and PALS certification as determined by your manager.
