This role blends operational excellence with strategic insight, acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and enabler to the Country Leadership Team and wider organization. Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Partner with Country Head and Leadership Team to translate business strategy into actionable people plans and support business transformation Provide pragmatic, hands-on HR support, balancing strategic advisory with operational delivery and contributing to business decisions with people insights Lead and coordinate local implementation of global P&O initiatives and enterprise projects Advise and coach leaders on team effectiveness, organizational design, performance, change management, and navigating complexity and transformation Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, fostering accountability, self-awareness, and alignment to company values Act as first point of contact for managers across the employee lifecycle and manage employee relations matters with a solutions-oriented approach Drive and execute local HR processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency while partnering with CoEs Lead the talent agenda including succession planning, leadership pipeline development, retention, engagement, and capability building Support recruitment, employer branding, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives Enable collaboration and mindset transformation by removing barriers, encouraging continuous learning, and fostering agile, cross-organizational teamwork What you'll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: University degree (i.e. Human Resources Management, Psychology) Fluent in Hungarian and English is a must Strong working knowledge of Hungarian labour law and Works councils / employee representation Demonstrated ability in ambiguous/ challenging environment Proactive approach to initiate and introduce best in class P&O practices to ensure support to client group. Proven project management experience. Proven track record of working directly with senior leaders / country leadership teams Demonstrated ability to personally handle complex HR cases, not just escalate Exposure to multinational / matrix organizations (strongly preferred) Ability to challenge constructively and navigate sensitive people topics with diplomacy. Agility to transition between business partnering at leadership level and executing on operational P&O process Compensation Structure & Criteria: Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
