The Senior AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Team Lead) is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading the operations of hybrid infrastructure environments across AWS Cloud and on-premise systems. This role combines technical leadership, solution design, and team management. The environment covers enterprise Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, Azure AD), Canon Print services, Hitachi storage systems, Nutanix HCI, VMware ESXi, and AWS cloud platforms hosted across remote locations. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, drive automation and modernization initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams-including Endpoint Management, Network Operations, and Security-to ensure seamless and secure infrastructure solutions. What will you do? Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a distributed team of 20-30 engineers managing diverse infrastructure environments. Develop and track annual improvement plans based on operational metrics, lessons learned, and technology advancements. Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic input to senior management and assist in service optimization, cost control, and service expansion opportunities. Technical Solution Design & Collaboration Collaborate with Endpoint Management, Network Operations, Cloud Security, and Application teams to design end-to-end infrastructure solutions. Develop integrated technical architectures ensuring compatibility, security, and performance across platforms. Participate in cross-domain projects such as device lifecycle management, network modernization, identity federation, and hybrid cloud deployment. Contribute to infrastructure automation and orchestration efforts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell. Serve as a technical escalation point for complex system issues that span multiple technology domains. AWS Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Management Design and manage AWS-based systems with focus on governance, scalability, and security compliance. Orchestrate hybrid cloud integrations between AWS and on-prem environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid networking). Implement and maintain server provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring frameworks. Drive migration projects, disaster recovery setups, and continuous improvement through automation and cost optimization. Windows & Enterprise Infrastructure Oversee Windows infrastructure including AD, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs. Manage Canon Print services, ensuring reliable operations and capacity planning. Administer VMware ESXi clusters, Nutanix HCI platforms, and Hitachi filer systems across remote sites. Implement standardized system hardening, patch management, and compliance policies. Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and maintain consistent operational documentation. Operational Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to ITIL, ISO20000, and ISO27001 operational frameworks. Maintain accurate documentation, change control records, and audit compliance artifacts. Generate regular performance and service delivery reports, providing insights for continual service improvement. Participate in audits, risk management initiatives, and capacity or resilience planning exercises. Education & Experience Minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments. At least 3 years of focused experience designing, deploying, or managing AWS services. Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a technical operations team in a complex enterprise environment. Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure domains (network, endpoint, and security). Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Technical Expertise AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, Azure AD, DNS, GPO, and PowerShell scripting. Exposure to VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI, and enterprise NAS/SAN systems (Hitachi). Familiarity with endpoint lifecycle management, network connectivity (VPN, DNS, load balancing), and automation tools. Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and cyber hygiene frameworks. Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Windows Server certification. VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP). ITIL Foundation certification. Soft Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities across technical and business stakeholders. Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills. Customer-oriented, adaptable, and proactive toward continuous improvement. Work location: NCS Bedok Work arrangement: On-site (no shift work) Travel: Occasional visits to remote facility sites may be required On-call: Participation in 24/7 support
