While our SEO/AEO team ensures executional best practices are implemented and technical site foundations are flawless, you will own the consumer insight engine-translating data from social trends, syndicated research, and LLM behavior into distinct creative briefs that ensure our clients' brands are uniquely positioned to be recommended by the next generation of search (ChatGPT, TikTok, Gemini, Perplexity). KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Culture-First AEO Strategy: Develop comprehensive optimization strategies tailored for conversational AI (RAG), rooted deeply in client domains and cultural opportunities. Perform entity research to build topical authority, ensuring client assets are recognizable as trusted nodes in AI knowledge graphs. Audience & Intent Intelligence: Move beyond traditional keyword research.Use behavioral data, quantitative surveys, and 1st-party data to identify high-value target audiences. Analyze how audiences ask questions in conversational interfaces and social platforms (TikTok, Reddit, Instagram) to map complex, long-tail user intent with contextually relevant prompt strategies. Social Listening & Trend Audits: Conduct deep-dive social listening and content audits to capture real-time conversational patterns. Identify emerging "micro-trends" on platforms like TikTok and Reddit to predict what audiences will soon be asking AI engines. The Creative "Way-In" & Briefing: Partner with Social Strategy and Creative teams. Turn data analysis into cohesive, storytelling presentations and actionable creative briefs that inspire content writers and designers. AI-Assisted Workflows: Assist in developing and implementing AI-assisted organic search workflows. Utilize emerging AEO/GEO optimization tools to analyze client content scalability and attribution. Visibility Tracking & Reporting: Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g. Manager of SEO/AEO, Analytics, and Paid Media teams) to ensure a robust plan to measure, track, and optimize performance (in real/near-real time) across GSC, GA4, and emerging AEO attribution platforms. Monitor and analyze brand visibility & sentiment within AI search results, tracking share of voice (SoV) in AI citations and conversational referral traffic. EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience (SEO, Content Strategy, or Social Strategy), ideally in a fast-paced agency environment. Deep AEO/GEO Fluency: A strong conceptual and practical understanding of how LLMs work, vector search, and AI answer engines source and cite data. Social-First Search Mindset: A proven track record of understanding social platforms as search ecosystems, particularly for younger demographics. Data & Tool Proficiency: Comfort pulling and interpreting data from Google Search Console and GA4, alongside professional SEO platforms (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog) and modern AEO analytics tools (e.g. Profound). Conversational AI Fluency: A strong conceptual grasp of how LLMs and knowledge graphs source information, with a passion for figuring out what makes content "citable." Communication & Presentation: Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and creative stakeholders. Experience building and delivering cohesive strategy decks to internal leads and external clients.
