About the role

A Single-Family Office was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in The Netherlands, with subsidiaries in Switzerland, Kenya, and Singapore. Its primary goal is to manage, preserve, and grow assets for its principal. The assets are invested across public equities, investment funds, private companies, and real estate. The main investment themes include Marine, Africa, Energy Transition, Food & Agriculture, and Technology/Fintech. For our Singapore office, we are seeking an Investment Analyst. The role of the Investment Analyst is to support the mapping, analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of existing and new investments. The role may also expand to include analytical support for the firm's overseas subsidiaries in The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Kenya. The Investment Analyst plays an important role in the investment process and contributes significantly to the successful operation of the Family Office. Job Description: The Investment Analyst will champion the monitoring process of fund and direct investments. The role involves collecting market and company-specific information, performing research, analyzing assets, company performance, investment structures, and capital planning. The Family Office maintains direct investments across both large and small-scale businesses, invests in venture capital through dedicated funds and co-investments, and has exposure through private equity funds. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of investment topics while also developing deeper expertise in one or two specific sectors to build long-term value within the investment team. The Investment Analyst will report to the Investment Manager while working closely within a collaborative investment team. Team members discuss and evaluate insights collectively before making final recommendations and proposing investment decisions to the Investment Committee. Collaboration, effective communication, presentations, and information sharing are therefore essential aspects of the role.
