Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience inspecting and assessing discrepancies for Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA) for Motor Operated Valves (MOVs), Motors, Motor Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Liquid Heaters, Heater Controllers, Dehumidifiers, Aircraft/Helicopter Electrical Servicing Systems (AESS/HESS), Lighting Systems, and Solid State/Mechanical Automatic Bus Transfer Switches (SSABT/ABT) to report on the ship's Consolidated Ships Maintenance Plan (CSMP) during a formal assessment period. Experience performing regular, scheduled inspections and assessments as part of an INSURV team and for Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) inspections on Motor Operated Valves (MOVs), Motors, Motor Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Liquid Heaters, Heater Controllers, Dehumidifiers, Aircraft/Helicopter Electrical Servicing Systems (AESS/HESS), Lighting Systems, and Solid State/Mechanical Automatic Bus Transfer Switches (SSABT/ABT). Experience serving as Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) for Motor Operated Valves (MOVs), Motors, Motor Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Liquid Heaters, Heater Controllers, Dehumidifiers, Aircraft/Helicopter Electrical Servicing Systems (AESS/HESS), Lighting Systems, and Solid State/Mechanical Automatic Bus Transfer Switches (SSABT/ABT) on USN ships, responding to ship's request, via 2K or TASS-Info job technical support to resolve issues that are beyond ship's force capability. Experience providing formal written reports on findings, discrepancies and repair recommendations utilizing the Technical Assistance Visit Report Process or equivalent applicable reporting process. Experience providing technical assistance on problems beyond the capability of IMAs, repair activities and AITs to diagnose and correct. Experience troubleshooting, repairing and testing electrical/electronic components, cabling and wiring for Motor Operated Valves (MOVs), Motors, Motor Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Liquid Heaters, Heater Controllers, Dehumidifiers, Aircraft/Helicopter Electrical Servicing Systems (AESS/HESS), Lighting Systems, and Solid State/Mechanical Automatic Bus Transfer Switches (SSABT/ABT). Experience utilizing Automated Information Systems such as NSEDR, Haystack, logiquest, and TDMIS to research technical information for USN Ship cognizant systems and components.
