Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in physical science or engineering or similar/ equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience in a similar role, as a service technician, process engineer or in a customer-facing field position
- Must be able to obtain and hold security clearance to gain access to customer sites
- Must have a valid passport to gain access to government sites
- Valid US driver's license
- Must be able to travel up to 75% overnight
- Spectroscopy experience highly desirable

Overview of the Role We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to be responsible for supporting our security and detection customers through on-site activities such as installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of systems. This may include hardware, software, and networking products as well as operating systems. You will spend 4-5 days per week in the field visiting customers. As this role will cover our aviation and airport customers, this position is preferably based in San Francisco, CA, but will consider candidates in the Los Angeles area within 30 miles of LAX.
