Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing build and test activities at the rack and system level .
  • Develop, document, and implement new product assembly, build, and test procedures .

  • Manage prototype and pre-production builds at contract manufacturers, ensuring accurate technical content and execution.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and drive resolution of early manufacturing issues at contract manufacturers.
  • Ensure closure of all deliverables required for Release to Manufacturing .
  • Design, develop, and manage scalable and automated assembly and test processes , test fixtures, and supporting equipment to enable efficient production and sustained high quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering .
  • Experience with test cell development and support .
  • Proven experience working with contract manufacturers .
  • Ability to drive development of custom tools for manufacturing and field use.
  • Hands-on experience with system-level products , from prototype through manufacturing release.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) .
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, creative, and organized; capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced or startup-like environment.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, test flows, and new product introduction (NPI) .
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access , and general electronic and mechanical CAD tools .
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and device datasheets .
